Sometimes people use odd characters that confuse our label printer. This may include certain accented characters (ê, é, ç, œ, etc) as well as foreign characters (Japanese characters, for instance).
Do not Email the Customer and Skip.
- If the offending character has a reasonable alternative using standard characters, replace it with a standard character. For instance, change “Frédérick” to “Frederick” then try to ship the package again.
- If the entire address is written in unfamiliar characters, find someone else who can help. If the address is to Japan, ask Lindsay for assistance. Otherwise, ask Charlie, Laura, or Ryan for assistance.
